17th-placed FC Nantes face Ligue 1 leaders PSG this Wednesday at 7pm. The game was initially planned to be held between Les Parisiens’ Champions League RO16 ties against Chelsea, but PSG successfully requested this home game against Nantes to be postponed, with the latter’s approval.

Les Canaris have a 5-point deficit on Auxerre, their situation is getting desperate with a Ligue 2 relegation looming large in a couple of weeks. What is more worrying for Nantes is that PSG really need a win tonight following last week’s home defeat to Lyon.

Nantes will be without head coach Vahid Halilhodzic, who has picked up a red card against Brest. France U21 international Dehmaine Tabibou, who was controversially sent off against the Bretons as well, has made the trip to Paris, given his red card has been rescinded yesterday.

Matthis Abline, who was benched on Sunday against Brest, is not expected to start against the Champions League winners.

Nantes likely line-up v PSG

Anthony Lopes; Deiver Machado, Nicolas Cozza, Ali Yousuf, Frédéric Guilbert; Louis Leroux, Johann Lepenant, Ibrahim Sissoko; Mostafa Mohamed, Ignatius Ganago, Dehmaine Tabibou. (LP)
