Multiple sources in Italy claim Napoli have set their sights on Roma captain Lorenzo Pellegrini for January.
Napoli are interested in signing Pellegrini from Roma in the January transfer window.
Several sources, including Gazzetta, Repubblica and Sky Sport Italia, claim that the Italy international is one of Conte’s targets as the coach aims to strengthen the Partenopei’s midfield next month.

Pellegrini has had a terrible start to the season in the capital. Not only has he been unfairly accused by some fans of having contributed to Daniele De Rossi’s sacking, but he’s also lost his starting spot under Claudio Ranieri.
The 28-year-old has one goal and two assists in 18 appearances across all competitions this term and has played just 168 minutes of football under Ranieri, spending three of the last four Serie A games on the bench.
His contract at the Olimpico runs out in June 2026, but Napoli see an opportunity to bring the Italian midfielder to the Maradona in the January transfer window.
The Partenopei are also interested in the Juventus captain, Danilo, but it remains to be seen if the Bianconeri will allow the Brazilian to join a direct rival halfway through the season.
