Napoli are still hoping to close a couple of deals before the end of the summer transfer window, and are still focussing on the additions of Eljif Elmas and Rasmus Hojlund, Football Italia understands.
As revealed 10 days ago, Napoli are targeting the signing of former winger Elmas from RB Leipzig. The Macedonian has been linked with movies to a number of clubs across Europe in recent weeks, but he is confidently awaiting a deal with the Partenopei.
Napoli are also taking concrete steps towards the signing of former Atalanta striker Hojlund from Manchester United.

Those talks have continued, even in recent hours, and Napoli are still open to the idea of signing the Denmark international on loan with an obligation to buy rather than an option. Either way, they are hoping to secure the most favourable terms possible with Manchester United.
Napoli are, however, stalling in their pursuit of Sevilla’s Juanlu Sanchez, and are not currently making any evaluations over the signing of a new midfielder given that Elmas is capable of covering in numerous positions himself.
