Neo Química Arena expected to host women’s support unit during 2027 Women’s World Cup | OneFootball

Neo Química Arena, one of the eight venues for the 2027 Women’s World Cup, is expected to host a mobile support service for women during the tournament, scheduled from 24 June to 25 July next year.

According to Globo.com, the service will be delivered from a bus fitted with rooms for psychological support in cases of violence, alongside staff who advise on rights, reporting channels and how to request protective measures, and who refer cases to the relevant authorities.

The initiative forms part of SP Por Todas and is coordinated by the Secretaria de Políticas para a Mulher of the Governo do Estado de São Paulo, which is awaiting the match schedule to plan logistics and begin publicity.

Further actions being prepared include expanding the Protocolo Não Se Cale, which encourages reporting of violence against women, and broadening use of the SP Mulher Segura app.

In recent days the Government has created the Comitê Estadual da Copa involving 11 secretariats and strategic bodies, including Políticas para a Mulher, Segurança Pública, Casa Civil, Turismo e Viagens, Comunicação, Transportes Metropolitanos, Fazenda e Planejamento, Justiça e Cidadania, Parcerias em Investimentos, Saúde, Companhia do Metropolitano de São Paulo (Metrô), Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos (CPTM) and Agência de Transporte do Estado de São Paulo (Artesp).
