Corinthians host Ponte Preta at 16:00 on Sunday at Neo Química Arena, and after the Vira Brasil event that occupied the pitch on 31 December and 1 January, a new image shows the surface appears in excellent condition, with only the pitch markings left to paint.

Metrópoles reports that the stadium hire for Vira Brasil is expected to bring nearly R$ 2.8 million to Corinthians. The amount was presented to São Paulo City Hall to support a R$ 4 million sponsorship, with R$ 2,792,690 listed as stadium rent. The remainder covered stage rental and assembly plus R$ 50,000 for publicity.

The up-to-date photo was taken on Tuesday, when staff were reinstalling seats in the South Stand that had been removed for the stage build. The event was the first held at the Casa do Povo in 2026.

The arena will also host São Paulo at 16:00 on 18 January in round three of the Paulistão. Bahia have a base date of 27 January for the opening round of the Brasileiro.

Depending on Timãozinho’s progress in the Copinha, the stadium could also host knockout ties later in the month.
