Manchester City’s trip to West Ham in the Barclays Women’s Super League has been rearranged due to our involvement in the Subway League Cup final.
Gareth Taylor’s side were initially scheduled to visit Chigwell Construction Stadium in the league on Sunday 16 March.
But with our meeting with Chelsea for the term's first major honour being played on Saturday 15 March, a new date and time has been set for our away match with the Irons.
It means the Blues will now travel to West Ham in the WSL on Wednesday 5 March, with kick-off scheduled for 19:00 (UK).
City triumphed 2-0 over Rehanne Skinner's side in October’s reverse fixture at the Joie Stadium thanks to goals either side of half-time from Lauren Hemp and Mary Fowler.
The England international broke the deadlock in the 10th minute when she collected the ball inside the box before coolly slotting home.
Fowler then doubled our advantage with 20 minutes remaining when heading home Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw’s precise cross which helped secure three precious points.
