At the very top, Liverpool even stronger favourites after getting a very late win, making it four victories from their last eight Premier League matches, with Arsenal seen by the bookies as the only serious potential threat, even though they threw away a two goal lead to only draw with Villa.

Eddie Howe’s team now seen as joint third least likely to go down in the 2024/25 season.

If you are wondering about the Man City 14/1 odds of relegation, this is due to the possibility (probability?) of severe punishment from the 115 Premier League charges they face, which could include amongst other sanctions, points deduction or even relegation. Still waiting for the outcome of that case.

Well, the bookies now have NUFC still fifth most likely after six wins in the last seven in the Premier League, despite that defeat to Bournemouth. Newcastle United now only just ahead of Forest, whilst edging a little further behind both Chelsea (who are home to Wolves tonight) and Man City in the eyes of the bookies, when it comes to most likely to finish Premier League top four, along with Liverpool and Arsenal.

It is now a trip for Eddie Howe’s side to rock bottom Southampton.
