Newcastle United ‘launch’ £30.2m Victor Muñoz bid, Sunderland linked with Parker and Ejuke | OneFootball

El Chiringuito TV reports that Newcastle United have lodged a bid of around £30.2 million, plus add-ons, for Victor Muñoz. The 22-year-old Osasuna and Spain winger is said to be very tempted. His release clause stands at £34.6 million.

Sunderland have been repeatedly linked with Muñoz in recent months. Some reports suggested a bid to sign him failed in January.

Sunderland are also among clubs monitoring Örgryte IS defender Michael Parker, according to Rudy Galetti. The 21-year-old joined from West Brom in February and has quickly impressed. In the Premier League, Newcastle and Brentford are likewise credited with interest.

Further afield, FC Copenhagen, Eintracht Frankfurt, Sturm Graz, Red Bull Salzburg and Sporting CP are cited as potential suitors. Parker can play centre-back or on the left and could be available this summer for £2.6 million to £4.3 million.

Separately, Joel Mendez reports that Sunderland, Fulham and Leeds United are keen on Sevilla winger Chidera Ejuke, while Bayer Leverkusen are monitoring him. Any deal for the 28-year-old could cost around £3.5 million, with one year left on his contract.
