A new date has been set for the young Newcastle United stars to meet Heaton Stannington.

A Newcastle United official announcement has revealed that the game has moved to Tuesday 11 March with a 7.30pm kick-off, originally scheduled for Monday 3 March.

The cup semi-final sees another chance for a local non-league team to take on the young NUFC stars of the future.

The NUFC Under 21s (reserves) hoping to repeat last season’s success in lifting the Northumberland Senior Cup.

‘Newcastle United Under-21s’ Newcastle Flooring Northumberland Senior Cup semi-final away at Heaton Stannington has a new date.

The young Magpies were due to face the Stan, who compete in the Northern Premier League Division One East, at Grounsell Park on Monday, 3rd March, with kick-off set at 7.30pm (GMT).

However, the cup tie will now take place on Tuesday, 11th March, with the venue and kick-off time remaining the same.
