It has now been reported that Newcastle United are set to sign Isaac Moran.

The Mail are reporting it as a ‘coup’ for United.

Having captained England at youth level, Isaac Moran has turned down the offer of a scholar’s contract at Liverpool and is expected now to sign for Newcastle United.

The exciting young midfield prospect turned 16 two days before Newcastle United defeated Liverpool to win the Carabao Cup at Wembley.

Last season, despite his age, a 15 year old Isaac Moran made his breakthrough playing for the Liverpool Under 18s.

Whilst Newcastle United continue to regularly sign up promising teenagers to go into the Academy, fans are anxiously waiting to see which first team contenders will be signed this summer.

They state that their information is that Newcastle United are looking to sign Leonardo Balerdi.

The 26 year old Argentina international central defender is captain of Marseille and whilst there is interest from Juventus, the report says that Newcastle are hoping to buy Leonardo Balerdi for around £35m, with Juventus struggling to afford to buy all their intended targets.

The Mail say that Newcastle United are still intending to do a deal with Nottingham Forest for Anthony Elanga, after seeing a £45m bid turned down.

Whilst they add that they have heard from inside West Ham, that Newcastle United are amongst the clubs interested in signing Mohammed Kudus.
