Newcastle United sign Swedish forward Larsson

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Magpies this evening.
The 27-year-old attacker makes the move to Tyneside following the expiry of her contract with former club FC Rosengård. Larsson joined the Swedish club in 2023 and helped them win the OBOS Damallsvenskan title in 2024.
Larsson started her career in her native Sweden with Linköpings FC before joining IFK Norrköping. The player then spent time with Hammarby IF before joining latest club FC Rosengård.
On the international stage, Larsson represented Sweden at various youth levels earlier in her career. She is yet to feature for her country at senior level.
After joining Newcastle United, Larsson said “It’s an amazing feeling, I can’t wait to meet all the girls and get going .
“This is a big club with a lot of history and they have something big going on and I really want to be part of that journey.”
Larsson will be available for selection for Newcastle United once the relevant international clearance is received. She is the club’s second signing of the January transfer window following the recent arrival of Kaitlyn Torpey.
