Neymar struck twice from inside the box as Santos defeated Vasco in the fourth round of the Brasileirão. He also argued with opponents.

As reported by Globo.com, these were the standout displays from the clash. Moisés supplied the pass for Neymar's first, with Gabriel Bontempo involved in the build-up.

Goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão made a big one-on-one stop against Nuno Moreira and was not at fault for the goal conceded.

On the right, Igor Vinícius struggled with the raids of Lucas Piton and Andrés Gómez. Adonis Frías mixed good and bad moments, yet handled other aerial duels in the box. Luan Peres was steady and even created a first-half chance.

Vini Lira impressed at both ends, closing space on the left and supporting attacks. Willian Arão had a poor first half but improved after the break. João Schmidt and Zé Rafael came on to tighten the press without fuss.

Thaciano worked hard in the press, though his attacking output underwhelmed. Miguelito disappointed and his error led to Vasco's goal. Barreal looked livelier, fizzing one effort just wide of Léo Jardim's post, but he also gifted possession in a dangerous area.

Rony ran willingly with few clear chances. Gabriel Menino had too little time to judge. Head coach Juan Vojvoda chose a more workmanlike side, well organised in front of the box, although individual errors denied a more comfortable night.
