N'Golo Kante says talks with Paris FC last summer made a Ligue 1 return a real option, and he has not ruled out finishing his career in France. According to Goal.com, the 2018 World Cup winner addressed the subject before France's friendly with Colombia.
He explained that discussions took place with Paris FC and other clubs, but nothing materialised, adding that the interest was respected.
Kante remained at Al-Ittihad for the first half of the campaign, then moved to Fenerbahce in February. The midfielder is now embarking on a fresh chapter in Türkiye.
The former Leicester and Chelsea star left Stamford Bridge in 2023, joined the Saudi Pro League, then opted to return to a more traditional European setting in the January window. His arrival bolstered Fenerbahce as they chase silverware.
Despite his age, he stays central to Didier Deschamps' plans, having been selected for the upcoming friendly. His tactical discipline and energy continue to shine, attributes Ligue 1 clubs could covet.
