According to a report from Foot Mercato, Nicolò Fagioli (23) wants to leave Juventus and join Olympique de Marseille this winter. Fagioli has struggled in recent months to nail down a place in Thiago Motta’s team and is excited by the prospect of relaunching his career under Roberto De Zerbi’s management.

This is an opportune time for the Italian as Marseille have been in search of reinforcements during the ongoing transfer window and want to secure his signature on a loan but with an option to buy. This is particularly due to the situation surrounding the summer signing Ismaël Koné (22).

De Zerbi confirmed in a press conference that the club will be looking to part ways with the Canadian international this winter following several underwhelming performances in the Marseille shirt. The former Watford player was not part of training at the end of last week and was not included in the matchday squad that lost away to OGC Nice.
