According to the BILD podcast„Bayern-Insider“, the rumors about a possible termination of Niklas Jackson’s loan this winter are false. Despite fluctuating performances and a lack of goals, the German record champions are still planning to keep the striker – at least until the end of the season.
BILD chief reporter Tobi Altschäffl clarifies: „That’s not true. He doesn’t want to leave in the winter – and Bayern don’t want to give him up.“
The reporters are thus contradicting English media reports, which had recently brought a premature transfer to Everton FC into play.

The 24-year-old Senegalese arrived in Munich from Chelsea with great expectations. Thanks to his athleticism, dynamism and ability to make deep runs, Jackson was seen as the perfect complement to Harry Kane. But it has been a bumpy start.
He rarely scores and is often unlucky with his finishing. Nevertheless, the coaching team led by Vincent Kompany remains convinced of his potential. „He wants the challenge. Jackson is not one to throw in the towel just because it’s tough at the start,“ emphasizes Christian Falk.
However, the Belgian expects a significant improvement in his finishing and consistency in the final third in the coming months.
According to the podcast, the fact that Everton FC are said to be interested is absolutely correct – but the personnel issue is effectively off the table. There are several reasons against a winter departure: Bayern would like to evaluate Jackson for the entire season. The player himself also sees his future – at least in the short term – in Munich.
„He wants to stay, that’s the clear message,“ emphasizes Altschäffl.
While breaking off the loan seems to be out of the question, another point is still up in the air: the purchase option. According to Falk and Altschäffl, there are many indications that FC Bayern will not exercise the option in the summer.
