Nonato diagnosed with injury, Fluminense miss key man against Palmeiras

Fluminense announced this Tuesday that midfielder Nonato has been diagnosed with a grade 1 injury in the posterior muscle of his right thigh.

The player entered the game at the 20th minute of the second half and remained, despite the pain, until the final whistle in the victory against Vasco da Gama last Sunday. Coach Luis Zubeldía had already made all the allowed substitutions.

With a return expected between two and three weeks, Nonato will be absent for Tricolor in the matches against Palmeiras and Remo, in the Brasileirão, Vasco, for the return of the Carioca semifinal, and the possible finals of the State Championship.
