Norwich City could be vulnerable to losing the likes of Kellen Fisher and Josh Sargent in January given their position in the Championship.

Norwich City have had a very disappointing season so far, although there is reason for optimism under new boss Phillipe Clement.

The former Rangers chief inherited the club in a very difficult position, and his challenge is clear - he must do all he can to keep the Canaries in the Championship.

Therefore, the January window is going to be pivotal, and you can be sure that Clement has drawn up a list of names that he wants the club to pursue when the market opens.

Yet, given Norwich’s situation, there is a chance that players will want to leave. Plus, potential buyers may see it as a good opportunity to prise some of the top individuals from Carrow Road.

With that in mind, we look at TWO Norwich players who could attract multi-million pound offers in the New Year…

Kellen Fisher

The full-back joined Norwich from Bromley in 2023, when they were a National League side, so it’s fair to say he has been a real success story.

Fisher has quickly become an important figure for the Yellows, and whilst he still has room to develop, which is normal for a 21-year-old, he is an assured performer in the Championship.

Given his age and potential, it’s no surprise that Premier League clubs have been credited with an interest in Fisher previously, with reports in the summer claiming that Everton were looking to bring the youngster in.

It remains to be seen whether they will return with a proper offer, but Fisher’s performances, even with Norwich’s struggles this season, mean he is likely to be a man in-demand.

Josh Sargent

This is the obvious one. Sargent has had a difficult campaign, scoring just six times in 20 Championship appearances, but his pedigree means he is certain to attract transfer interest in the New Year.

Wolfsburg agreed a deal worth up to £20m for the USA international in the summer, but Sargent rejected the chance to return to the Bundesliga.

That shows the sort of money that Norwich will be able to receive for their star man, and it will be intriguing to see how the January window plays out.

On one hand, it’s difficult for Norwich to turn down such an offer when there is a chance they could be in League One next season. However, any sale will damage the Canaries’ survival hopes, even if it will boost Clement’s budget.
