FLW's QPR fan pundit has reacted to Yang Min-hyeok's move to Portsmouth.

Yang Min-hyeok showed glimpses of excellence whilst on loan at QPR for the latter half of the 2024/25 season, and now has a full campaign at Portsmouth to kick on.
The 19-year-old arrived at Tottenham Hotspur from K-League side Gangwon FC in January and made a few matchday squads in the Premier League and EFL Cup under Ange Postecoglou before he departed for Loftus Road for a short loan spell.
He made 14 Championship appearances for the Hoops during the second half of last season, scoring two goals and providing one assist as he settled into life playing in England.
QPR have since moved on to new wingers this summer, namely Kwame Poku, and now Portsmouth are the side to take the exciting South Korean on a season-long loan deal, with the hopes of continuing his development.
FLW's QPR fan pundit, Louis Moir, now has to watch Yang as a neutral fan and feels that he'll do exciting things at Fratton Park.
However, he doesn't feel that losing out on securing the 19-year-old's services once again is necessarily a negative thing.
"He made a few appearances for us, scored a couple of goals, and I liked what I saw from him. He's still so young and so raw, and that was the first time he played in England last season.
"Coming into the Championship at 18, it's going to be difficult, but I think he did okay."
Above everything, Yang showed a willingness to attack and get shots off during his short time at Loftus Road. His per 90 stats saw him take 2.33 shots, according to FotMob.
However, QPR have now secured the arrival of one of League One's most exciting players in Kwame Poku, and whilst a return for Yang would have been well-received by Hoops' fans, the 19-year-old would have simply just backed up the former Peterborough United winger.
"I'd have liked to have him back, but I'm not jealous that Pompey got him, as on the right-hand side we've arguably signed a better player in Poku, someone you'd prefer at this level, and with Dembélé and Chair, maybe with one or two more additions on either side, and Kolli could do well too, we're looking decent in the attacking areas," Moir continued.
"I wouldn't say it's a shame that we couldn't get him back, but I think he'll do well at Portsmouth."
Yang was immediately thrown into the fray at Portsmouth this weekend, despite only arriving at Fratton Park on Friday.
His inclusion in the squad and subsequent debut with just over 20 minutes remaining in their opening-day win over Oxford United highlights the faith John Mousinho has in the 19-year-old, and that expectation to grow is shared with Moir.
"Yang's a talented young player who will probably benefit from having Championship experience last season. He'll probably develop and show further progression," he said.
"Which is slightly annoying because if that ends up being the case, then we've led that up for him to do well at another club, but that's always going to potentially happen with loan players.
"He's a really good player; someone with tonnes of potential and ability, and it'll be interesting to see how well he does at Portsmouth."
For now, Moir and his fellow QPR supporters will have one eye on how their former loanee progresses at Pompey, and if the 19-year-old can show signs of promise in his first full Championship season, then the rest of the league will be put on notice, too.
"If he makes more starts in the league and does well in a full Championship season, he'll be a decent signing for Pompey," Moir stated,
"For the neutral, he's one to keep an eye on, as he's a cracking talent."
