Vitor Pereira says Nottingham Forest will fight to keep Elliot Anderson at the club this summer.

Anderson’s stellar season for Forest has attracted interest from Premier league rivals, including Manchester United.

“This is an answer I don’t have,” Pereira said on the midfielder’s future.

“The market is the market. In the market, everything can happen. What I can say to you is the club wants to keep him playing for us, for sure.

“The club wants to keep almost all of the players because this is a very good group with quality and with character and we have a very good base for next season.

“He has a lot of talent and he’s young. For sure he will fly with big wings.”

Pereira also shed light on his own future, suggesting he will stay beyond this season.

“Yes, we are planning for next season together,” he said. “We are working to plan the next season together.

“Of course it’s normal with the media and the speculation. I think we did good work together with the help of our supporters and we have everything to move on and to start to build something stronger for next season.”
