Nottingham Forest have confirmed central defender Murillio has signed a new contract at the club, which will keep him at the City Ground until summer 2029.
The Brazilian has been a major success since signing from Corinthians in an £11m move in August 2023, missing just one Premier League in the time since.
He has been a key part of Forest's incredible form this season, which sees Nuno Espírito Santo's side sitting comfortably inside the top four after 22 games.
Speaking on his new deal, the 22-year-old said: "I’m very thankful and very happy that there are four more years to come. I’m thankful to everyone for the support – not just to me, but to my family.”
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis added: “We dream big, and so does he. He believes in the power of what we are doing at this great club. When we share the same bold ambitions, there is no limit to what we can achieve together.”
The Reds, and Murillo, will be looking to celebrate the good news with another victory when they visit fellow high-flyers Bournemouth on Saturday.
