Vitor Pereira has confirmed his Nottingham Forest line-up to face Midtjylland in tonight’s Europa League last 16 first leg at the City Ground.
According to Nottingham Post, Forest want to put themselves in a strong position before next week’s return and to atone for the 3-2 league-phase defeat earlier in the season under Ange Postecoglou.
Pereira has since taken charge, juggling a Premier League survival fight with a European run. Forest advanced via an aggregate win over Fenerbahce, while a 2-2 draw with Manchester City last Wednesday offered encouragement. A free weekend has given the Portuguese extra time on the training ground.
He makes three changes from the Etihad, with Morato, Omari Hutchinson and Callum Hudson-Odoi coming in for Ibrahim Sangare, Neco Williams and Nikola Milenkovic. The hosts could set up with either a three or a four at the back, and Murillo may again operate at left-back.
Forest: Sels, Aina, Jair, Morato, Murillo, Dominguez, Anderson, Hutchinson, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, Jesus. Subs: Gunn, Willows, Williams, Sangare, Lucca, Yates, McAtee, Bakwa, Milenkovic, Abbott.
