Oboavwoduo: Juventus confirm 19-year-old striker move from Man City Academy | OneFootball

Justin Oboavwoduo has joined Juventus Next Gen from the Manchester City academy, signing a contract until June 2028.

English striker Oboavwoduo has joined Serie A giants Juventus from Manchester City.

The 19-year-old forward will begin his career in Turin in the NextGen squad, playing in Italy’s third division, Serie C.

Juventus confirmed Oboavwoduo’s transfer with an official statement on Monday.

“With impressive speed, skill and a keen eye for goal, he’s ready to take on the new challenge in Italy and continue his development,” the Bianconeri said.

Oboavwoduo had undergone medical tests in Turin on Monday.

During the first part of the campaign at Manchester City, he scored six goals and provided five assists in 18 appearances across all competitions, including five goals in six Premier League 2 games.

Double deal for Juventus NextGen

Born in Manchester on August 23, 2006, Oboavwoduo made his England U20 debut in September 2024.

Juventus also confirmed Adin Licina’s transfer from the Bayern Munich Academy.

The German was born in 2007 and has signed a contract until June 2029. Licina will also begin his Juventus career in the NextGen squad.
