Martin Odegaard has urged Arsenal to ‘keep going’ despite the setback of defeat at Manchester City.

A poor run of form has seen Arsenal’s title race lead reduced to three points, and City can move top of the table with a win at Burnley in their game in hand.

Arsenal have now lost their last four domestic games, exiting both cup competitions, and allowed the Citizens to close in.

Goals from Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland condemned Arsenal to a 2-1 defeat at the Etihad on Sunday, a big blow to the club’s hopes of a first league title since 2004.

Odegaard has aimed to rally his side, with the Arsenal captain insisting the title race is far from over.

“Keep going, keep going. It’s always going to be going all the way to the end, so we have to keep going, keep working hard, and sticking together, you know,” he said post-match.

“Just look forward to the next game now and bounce back, and keep going.

“We created a few big, big chances there as well, so of course there are some positives to take – frustrating at the moment, but we’ll analyse it and move onto the next, you know – bounce back.

“It’s all to play for – and it’s the best part of the season. It’s all to play for, so we’ll just look forward to the next game now, and go from there.”
