Official: Daniel Peretz leaves Bayern to join Southampton permanently

Bayern Munich have confirmed that Daniel Peretz has joined Southampton on a permanent deal.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Southampton, now makes the move to the English Championship side on a permanent basis.

According to Sky Germany, Bayern will receive a fee of around €7.5 million for Peretz.

“Daniel immediately established himself as number one at Southampton following his move in the winter and has found a new sporting home there," said Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl.

"We thank him for his time in Munich: he’s a great character and always applied himself in a highly professional manner. We wish him all the best for his future.”

Peretz joined Bayern from Maccabi Tel Aviv in the summer of 2023 and went on to make seven appearances for the German champions.
