Official – Doué, PSG reveal results of medical tests!

Désiré Doué, a 20-year-old midfielder/forward for Paris Saint-Germain, had to leave the field due to a thigh injury during the match against Lorient on Wednesday (Matchday 10 of Ligue 1). We were then waiting to find out the nature and duration of the injury. PSG released an official statement after the examinations.

“Injured during the match against Lorient, Désiré Doué is suffering from a muscle lesion in his right thigh and will be unavailable for a few weeks. An update will be provided after the international break.”

Perhaps there is relatively good news, since there is not yet talk of an absence lasting several months, which was a concern. We will still have to wait to know the exact date of his return. At least there is an international break coming up on November 10, which gives a bit of time to recover. In any case, we wish Doué strength and courage.
