Fiorentina-Juventus will regularly be played on Sunday at the Stadio Franchi in Florence, but the Serie B game Pisa-Mantova has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions.
Florence’s Mayor Sara Funaro confirmed on Saturday that Sunday’s Serie A match between Fiorentina and Juventus will go ahead as planned.
“There is no reason why it should not be played,” Funaro said, as quoted by Gazzetta.
There were concerns that the game could be postponed due to adverse weather conditions and heavy rainfall in Florence and its surroundings.
