Algeria international left-back Yasser Larouci (25) has signed a three-year deal with Le Mans FC, the promoted Ligue 1 side has announced on Tuesday. The 24-year-old was a free agent upon the expiry of his contract with Troyes. The former Liverpool left-back spent last season on loan at Greek outfit Kifisia.
Larouci left the Reds in 2021 to sign a five-year deal with City Football Group-owned Troyes. The Algerian spent the past three seasons on loan at Sheffield United, Watford and Kifisia. His experience could prove valuable for Le Mans, whose primary objective would be to reach safety as quickly as possible. Larouci is Le Mans’ third summer signing after Louis Mafouta and Bilal Brahimi. He’ll wear the No. 76 jersey within Patrick Videira’s ranks.
