Germany has found out who they will face in the group stages of next summer’s World Cup, following the draw in Washington. 

Last month, Julian Nagelsmann’s side secured automatic qualification for the tournament next summer following a 6-0 win against Slovakia in the final group game of the campaign.

Heading into the World Cup next summer, die Nationalmannschaft hasn’t won or even competed in the knockout stages of the competition since lifting the trophy in 2014 in Brazil. Since then, they have been knocked out at the group stages in both the 2018 and 2022 editions in Russia and Qatar.

Germany found themselves placed in Group E after being drawn from Pot 1. 

Germany’s schedule:

Ecuador, June 25th (Philadelphia or New Jersey)

Ivory Coast, June 20th (Toronto or Kansas City)

Curacao, June 14th (Philadelphia or Houston) 

This isn’t the exact schedule, and a further draw will be made tomorrow (Saturday) to decide the exact location.
