Official I Rasmus Nicolaisen extends Toulouse contract | OneFootball

Toulouse FC has officially announced the extension of defender Rasmus Nicolaisen’s (29) contract until 2029.

Having arrived in France from FC Midtjylland in the summer of 2021, the Dane has established himself as a key figure in Ligue 1 and, above all, as a symbol of TéFéCé’s longevity in the top flight.

With over 160 appearances for Les Violets, with whom he won the Coupe de France and competed in the Europa League, the Herning-born player now serves as captain of a club with ambitious aspirations.

Having started 33 of the 35 matches he has played this season, Nicolaisen has bounced back in fine style following a more challenging 2024-25 campaign.

This contract extension sends a strong signal for the Toulouse club, which is expected to see several of its players, such as the highly sought-after Charlie Cresswell (23), Cristian Cásseres (26) and Guillaume Restes (21), leave Occitanie in the coming weeks.
