Loum Tchaouna has officially joined Burnley this Wednesday, July 2, 2025. The young French winger, of Chadian descent, arrives from Serie A to sign with the newly promoted Premier League club.
Talks of his imminent departure from Lazio Roma had been swirling for several weeks, and now it’s confirmed. Loum Tchaouna will not be wearing the Italian club’s shirt next season. The France U21 international has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with the Clarets. The transfer fee is believed to be around €15 million, according to sources. Burnley has broken the bank to secure the former Stade Rennais man, who had been playing in Rome since the summer of 2024.
"Burnley Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of French U21 winger Loum Tchaouna from SS Lazio for an undisclosed fee. He becomes Burnley’s fourth summer signing, following the arrivals of Max Weiß, Quilindschy Hartman, and Axel Tuanzebe last week," the Clarets announced.
