Official: Real Madrid star named La Liga Player of the Month | OneFootball

A member of the attacking ranks at Real Madrid has officially been named La Liga Player of the Month for September.

The player in question? Kylian Mbappé.

Frontman Mbappé is of course fresh off another spectacular month in September.

Continuing what has been nothing short of an explosive start to the new campaign, the Frenchman featured from the off in all six of Real Madrid’s fixtures.

And along the way, Mbappé directly contributed to 11 goals.

Four of these appearances came in league play, across which the former Paris Saint-Germain standout racked up five goals and an assist.

Owing to such endeavours, Mbappé was last week named amongst the nominees for La Liga’s Player of the Month.

And as alluded to above, on Friday, the 26-year-old has officially beaten out the competition to scoop the prize.

As per a statement across La Liga’s social media platforms:

‘Kylian Mbappé wins Player of the Month for September in La Liga EA Sports after scoring in every game!’
