Another member of the first-team ranks at La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid has on Tuesday secured for himself a call-up for this summer’s World Cup.

This comes amid confirmation of the inclusion of Arda Güler in Türkiye’s squad for the international showpiece.

Youngster Arda is of course fresh off a productive campaign all told in the colours of the aforementioned Real Madrid.

Despite the struggles of Los Blancos as a collective, the 21-year-old took a major step forward when it comes to prominence, en route to 51 appearances across all competitions.

Along the way, Arda also chipped in with six goals and an impressive 14 assists.

In turn, it should on Tuesday come as little surprise to hear of the former Fenerbahçe talent being afforded a place in Türkiye’s ranks for the upcoming World Cup.

The midfielder joins the likes of Juventus prodigy Kenan Yildiz and Inter Milan standout Hakan Çalhanoğlu in his country’s travelling party bound for North America.
