Real Madrid are set to face off against Valencia in La Liga at the Santiago Bernabeu in less than two hours.

Ahead of kickoff, Los Blancos’ manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has announced the starting lineup that will be taking the field against Los Che today.

And, as expected, there is a debutant in the side, as young La Fabrica goalkeeper Fran Gonzalez makes his first-team debut for Real Madrid, in the absence of Thibaut Courtois and Andriy Lunin, who has not recovered sufficiently after being included in the squad.

There are plenty more changes to the team that took the field against Real Sociedad earlier in the week as Aurelien Tchouameni and Antonio Rudiger line up as the centre-backs in place of Raul Asencio and David Alaba.

Meanwhile, Fran Garcia returns at left-back, at the expense of Eduardo Camavinga, while Lucas Vazquez continues at right-back.

In midfield, captain Luka Modric gets the nod and he will be partnered by Federico Valverde while Jude Bellingham slots in as the No. 10 despite there being speculations about him being rested.

In attack, Rodrygo has been given a break as Brahim Diaz starts alongside Kylian Mbappe, who reclaims his spot from Endrick, and Vinicius Jr.
