Lazio have said goodbye to coach Maurizio Sarri with a video of his touchline moments, as he is set to take a new role with Atalanta.
This was his second stint on the Stadio Olimpico bench, after 2021 to March 2024, when he left due to family matters.

He returned last summer and stayed on, despite admitting he was tempted to walk away after learning the club was under a transfer embargo due to financial fair play limitations.
Sarri steered Lazio to the Coppa Italia Final, losing 2-0 to Inter, and mid-table Serie A safety.
His contract has been terminated by mutual consent with a brief statement and a video published on the club’s social media accounts.
It is already known that he has agreed a new contract to take over the Atalanta job.
Sarri will be joined there by Cristiano Giuntoli, who replaces Tony D’Amico as director of sport.
As for Lazio, they have already agreed terms with former Italy coach Gennaro Gattuso.
