With the second international break of the new season just around the corner, national team managers have been releasing the squad lists for their respective matches.
Real Madrid, as usual, are expected to have a number of players away on national team duty from next week – two of whom will be involved with the French national team.
Indeed, Les Bleus head coach Didier Deschamps has called up in-form forward Kylian Mbappe and young midfielder Eduardo Camavinga to the squad for their upcoming games.
Mbappe, who has been in red hot form for club and country this season, will be eager to extend that run.
Camavinga was not part of the squad during the September international break as he had been out with injury.
The 22-year-old starlet made his comeback only recently and even scored his first goal of the season earlier this week during Real Madrid’s UEFA Champions League win vs Kairat Almaty.
There is, however, no space in the France squad for Aurelien Tchouameni, as he is suspended for France’s upcoming match after being sent off in their last game against Iceland in September.
France take on Azerbaijan on 10 October before facing Iceland on 13 October.
