Heidenheim have officially confirmed the reported on signing of Christian Conteh from Eintracht Braunschweig.Christian joins his older brother Sirlord at the relegation-threatened Bundesliga outfit. The two brothers now represent the same club for the first time since they both featured for St. Pauli in 2019.

Like Sirlord, the 26-year-old Christian possesses exceptional pace. During the first half of the current campaign, Christian remains the third fastest clocked player of any professional currently featuring in the Bundesliga or 2. Bundesliga. He achieved a top speed of 36.12 km/hr earlier this year.

“His incredible pace and dribbling skills are a perfect fit for our needs,” Heidenheim CEO Holger Sanwald noted in a club statement. “We plan to use him in attack both on the flanks and in the center.“
