OGC Nice enquire about former PSG defender Abdou Diallo | OneFootball

Abdou Diallo (29) joined Qatari side Al-Duhail SC last summer, however, a return to Europe could be on the cards for the Senegal international, according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Diallo is currently on loan at Al-Duhail from Al-Arabi SC, but the centre-back, who has previously played for Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund, is the subject of interest from OGC Nice, who are enduring a difficult season. 

The defence has been a particular problem for Le Gym, who have lost Moise Bombito, Mohamed Abdelmonem, and Youssouf Ndayishimiye to long-term injuries. Dante has struggled with fitness throughout the campaign and Juma Bah has struggled since joining on loan from Manchester City.

Nice have enquired about a move from Diallo in recent days, Foot Mercato understands, but they face competition from Greek club Olympiacos, who have made a more concrete approach for the defender, who is open to a return to Europe.
