OGC Nice manager Franck Haise: ‘We aren’t all PSG.’

The tide has turned at Nice. After a terrific start to 2025, which saw their record to the calendar year bettered only by runaway leaders Paris Saint-Germain, OGC Nice have become unstuck in recent weeks. Franck Haise’s side are winless in their last four and, after a 2-1 defeat to FC Nantes at the Allianz Riviera on Friday night, have now lost three of their last four:

With 77% possession and 21 shots on goal, Le Gym dominated proceedings without creating many clear-cut opportunities to reverse the deficit, whilst they were punished for their errors. Breaking down the low-block proved especially difficult for Haise’s side. “I thought we’d put one away but (Anthony) Lopes made some great saves. We aren’t all PSG to find solutions against sides that are compact,” said Haise in a post-match press conference attended by Get French Football News.

Having lost against Olympique Lyonnais despite dominating for large periods, conceded a last-minute equaliser to AJ Auxerre and then losing away to AS Monaco, Haise believes that his side deserved more points for their efforts in recent games. “We aren’t being rewarded well at the moment. We are in a period where things aren’t going our way and we have to give that bit more,” added the Nice manager.
