OL v Rennes: Fofana and Nuamah return, Tessmann and Ghezzal left out | OneFootball

Malick Fofana and Ernest Nuamah return to the OL squad to face Rennes, according to Le Progres.

Paulo Fonseca has had to make choices as the treatment room empties. Orel Mangala is out for 15 days after a hamstring problem at Auxerre. Rémi Himbert, in recovery, is not included, and Hans Hateboer, on loan from Rennes, is ineligible due to a clause preventing him facing his former side.

Tanner Tessmann, who has not trained fully in recent days, drops out for Mathis de Carvalho. Rachid Ghezzal is left out in favour of Adam Karabec.

The midfield is well stocked and the attack has fresh legs. A 4-3-3 that looks like a 4-2-3-1 is possible, with Khalis Merah moving between the lines and plans open to change during the match. For the first time this season, the group appears close to a near-perfect balance.
