OL’s leading scorer Pavel Sulc suffered a muscle problem at the back of his thigh and was withdrawn on 27 minutes at Strasbourg.
He was involved in a heavy aerial collision with Enciso around the quarter-hour, then lasted roughly 10 more minutes before requesting a change after twice sitting down, which irked the Meinau crowd. Head coach Paulo Fonseca said the severity was unclear, with assessments planned the following day, and that it was a posterior thigh muscle issue.
In November, Sulc missed a Czech Republic camp and OL’s defeat to PSG due to a small hamstring tear at the back of his thigh, raising the question of a recurrence four months on.
His involvement in the trip to Marseille could be in doubt.
Matches are set to arrive every three days thereafter, including the Coupe de France quarter-final and the Europa League last 16.
