O&M FC, Mount Pleasant kick off Caribbean Cup Final

MIAMI — The 2025 Concacaf Caribbean Cup continues with Universidad O&M FC hosting Mount Pleasant FA in the First Leg of their series in the Final on Tuesday at Estadio Cibao FC in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic.
O&M FC arrives at its first Final after knocking out Cibao FC, 2-1 on aggregate, in the Semifinals. The Dominican Republic club began the campaign securing a second-place finish in Group A with a 2-0-2 record.
Herard Franzety will be one of the players to watch in the series, as he leads both O&M FC and the tournament with four goals. On the other end, O&M FC goalkeeper Iraitz Geibentzu leads the tournament with 21 saves.
Mount Pleasant FA will also appear in its first Caribbean Cup Final after winning 5-2 on aggregate against Defence Force in the Semifinals. The Jamaican side began its road to the Final with a perfect 4-0-0 record to top Group A, becoming the first team in tournament history to win all Group Stage matches without conceding a goal.
Raheem Edwards leads Mount Pleasant the 2025 edition with three goals, including a brace in the Semifinals.
The meeting presents the second encounter between the sides after they faced each other in Group A on September 30. Mount Pleasant won that meeting 2-nil with goals from Radail Irving and Ranaldo Biggs.
