Supporters of La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday been treated to a fresh glimpse of the frankly ridiculous talents of Kylian Mbappé when firing on all cylinders.

Real, of course, are currently locked in action.

In the knowledge that an eventual victory would see them claim top spot in the table, Los Blancos have welcomed Las Palmas to Spain’s capital, for a La Liga clash.

And, as things stand, a three-point haul is precisely what the afternoon’s hosts find themselves headed towards.

This comes in no small part owing to what has been nothing short of an explosive performance on the part of the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé.

As those of a Real persuasion will be well aware, recent weeks have seen the club’s summer signing showcase flashes of his old self, courtesy of moments of individual brilliance.

On Sunday, though, it has all come together, to see Mbappé explode into world-class form.

After he and his teammates fell a goal behind early on against Las Palmas, the Frenchman took the game by the scruff of the neck.

Mbappé is excelling in every aspect of the game, dribbling, passing, creating for his teammates, and crucially, scoring.

After dragging Los Merengues level from the penalty spot, the 26-year-old was back at it again later in the first-half, directing a wonderful first-time finish into the top corner of the visitors’ net.

And only a VAR call has since prevented Mbappé from rounding out his hat-trick.

Unplayable, phenomenal, incredible, unbelievable, world-class – all words which have been used to describe the performance put forth by Kylian Mbappé thus far this afternoon.
