A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has played a direct hand in at least one goal in each of his appearances to open the new campaign.
The player in question? Lamine Yamal.
Wide-man Lamine was for his part back in action on the international front on Thursday night. This came by way of a start in Spain’s World Cup qualifying meeting with Poland.
And en route to an eventual 3-0 La Roja triumph, the 18-year-old played a starring role, chipping in with an assist amid a fine display.
This kept alive what has been a stellar individual opening to the 2025/26 season for Lamine.
In Barcelona’s opening day La Liga clash with Mallorca, the prodigious winger notched both a goal and an assist.
This was followed by a further assist against Levante, and a goal at Rayo Vallecano.
All told, Lamine has therefore racked up five direct goal contributions in four appearances thus far this season.
