Robin Koch made a cameo appearance in Germany’s 7-0 win over Bosnia & Herzegovina, but Aurèle Amenda and Arthur Theate have returned to Frankfurt for treatment.
Germany secured first place in UEFA Nations League League A Group 3 with a 7-0 victory over Bosnia & Herzegovina in Freiburg on Saturday, which came courtesy of goals from Jamal Musiala (2’), Tim Kleindienst (23’, 79’), Kai Havertz (37’), Florian Wirtz (50’, 57’) and Leroy Sané (66’). The win confirms Germany’s place in the League A quarter-finals, which will be held between 20 and 23 March 2025. Eagles defender Robin Koch came off the bench in the 73rd minute of the contest.
Amenda and Theate withdraw
Arthur Theate has left the Belgium squad due to injury and will undergo further tests in Frankfurt.
Aurèle Amenda also suffered a knee injury while playing for Switzerland against Serbia on Friday. He will return to Frankfurt on Monday for more in-depth examinations by the Eagles’ medical team.
