Onuachu converts one, denied another as Antalyaspor hold Trabzonspor | OneFootball

Antalyaspor and Trabzonspor drew 1-1 in the Süper Lig on Friday, lifting the hosts from 14th to 11th in the table.

In the 43rd minute, Sander Van de Streek swept home from the centre of the box to put Antalyaspor ahead.

After the restart, Paul Onuachu won a penalty and converted from the spot (53.). A handball by Hüseyin Türkmen prompted a second spot kick, with VAR confirming the decision (79.). Onuachu's second attempt was saved by Julián Cuesta (81.).

Before the interval, André Onana had tipped over a Van de Streek header, while Cuesta thwarted Ernest Muci during a lively spell for the visitors.

Seven minutes of second half stoppage time were indicated as Trabzonspor pressed and forced late corners.

Trabzonspor registered 14 attempts and nine corners as they controlled long spells. Antalyaspor finished with 30.8% possession from four attempts.
