Onugha clinches vital win as Kayserispor rise to 16th

Kayserispor beat Fatih Karagümrük 1-0 on Thursday in Kayseri, climbing from 17th to 16th after Matías Kranevitter's red card and German Onugha's winner.
Kranevitter was sent off in the 37th minute for violent conduct, leaving the visitors down to 10 men.
Onugha settled it with a composed finish from Miguel Cardoso's cross (66.).
The forward then struck the left post (75.) as the hosts pressed, before Ivo Grbić saved smartly from Cardoso (82.) and, in the third minute of second half stoppage time, denied Denis Makarov.
Kayserispor controlled the ball with 61.2% possession and tallied 16 attempts, five on target. Fatih Karagümrük managed six attempts with one on target.
Fatih Karagümrük remain 18th. Next, Kayserispor visit Kasımpaşa, while Fatih Karagümrük host Çaykur Rizespor.
