It seems it’s not just Chelsea who have caught on to Marc Cucurella being a fun and funny presence on camera. The Premier League called him up for this week’s edition of “ask me anything” and got him at his best.

He gave a really interesting answer to what was supposed to be a soft-ball question – who have you learned the most from? He revealed that his relationship with the veteran “started very badly,” but they had soon made up.

To be fair, coming together in the context of the chaos of summer 2022 into winter 2023 was not ideal for anyone. No wonder it took a while for the relationship to develop on and off the pitch.

What’s interesting is that the pair of them did the first stages of their UEFA coaching badges together. Maybe that’s what brought them closer together? We can imagine Cucurella is a funny bloke to have in your classroom to lighten the mood.
