Ousmane Dembélé’s deft chip against Lille has been voted Paris Saint-Germain’s goal of the season, taking 59.3% in a readers’ poll. According to L'Équipe, the strike came in the 3-0 win on 16 January.

There was little suspense as the finish, which thrilled the Parc des Princes, ran away with the vote.

Joao Neves’s overhead kick in the 6-3 victory over Toulouse finished second on 13.1%.

Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia’s solo run in the 5-2 win against Chelsea in March was third with 8.8%.

Also recognised were Dembélé’s control and finish against Marseille in the 5-0 success on 8 February, which drew 6.5%.

Kvaratskhelia’s slalom past Atalanta in the 4-0 result on 17 September earned 3.2%, and Vitinha’s first-time hit versus Tottenham in the 5-3 on 26 November took 2.9%.

Doué’s strike from a tight angle against Nantes in the 3-0 on 22 April and Nuno Mendes’s direct free-kick at Lille in the 1-1 on 5 October each received 1.7%. Another choice drew 2.8%.
