Oxford United, Torino and Udinese enquire about out-of-favour Ajax midfielder Benjamin Tahirović | OneFootball

According to De Telegraaf, several sides are interested in Bosnian midfielder Benjamin Tahirović. Championship club Oxford United, and Serie A sides Torino and Udinese have expressed their interest in the 21-year-old, with the intention of signing him before the end of the month.

Tahirović has struggled for game time since making the €7.5m move from Roma to Ajax in 2023. In total, the versatile midfielder has featured 39 times, scoring twice and providing five assists. The last two months have seen Tahirović sidelined with an injury, limiting his game time to just 125 minutes this season.

Benjamin Tahirović is top of Ajax’s departure list this month, and it’s almost guaranteed that he’ll be playing somewhere else in February. Oxford United are a top candidate for his signature. The English second-tier side have experienced a remarkable rise up the table in recent weeks, winning five of their last six league games, shooting them up to 14th place. Torino and Udinese are monitoring the situation.
