Pablo Longoria replaced at OM as Alban Juster named interim executive board president | OneFootball

Olympique de Marseille have named Alban Juster interim president of the executive board, 10 days after Pablo Longoria was sidelined. The club said in a statement that the move forms part of a temporary structure while it begins the process to appoint a new president of the executive board.

The announcement was issued at 22:00 on Saturday. Juster, 36, has been with the club for eight years.

He previously served as director of finance and compliance. He now forms part of an executive board that also includes Alessandro Antonello and Benjamin Arnaud.

The move is intended to ensure OM's administrative, financial and operational continuity.

The statement comes amid a turbulent spell for the club, and 10 days after owner Frank McCourt set out a major reorganisation. He also asked resigning director of football Medhi Benatia to remain in post at least until June, while Longoria had been president for five years.
